Becoming a Millionaire with Side Hustles (January 2023)
January 1, 2023 - Happy new year! I visited my home country and parents for the first time in 5 years. Lots of mixed emotions. My Holiday vacation is nearly over, which means back to the sad reality of a day job. Not all is bad, however. My wife is 7 months pregnant (yay!) and I’m just eager to be next to her and our soon-to-be baby boy. I think it’s going to be a tough first quarter for stocks this year, which may worsen if the war in Ukraine escalates. Let’s hope, for the sake of all and especially for those suffering from the war, that both Russia and Ukraine are able to reach an agreement.
January 16, 2023 - I have been working on new forms of maximizing the current sources of income. I discovered a method that allowed me to maximize AdSense revenue. I also filtered out some survey apps and trained some new skills on both Appen and Toloka. I haven’t done any Crypto trading recently, even though it was a great time to do so due to the mini bull run that happened during the past week. I managed to sell two old school runescape accounts and farm around 3 billion gp. If I manage to sell this gp, that will net me another $900 or so. I haven’t invested any of the money I made off side hustles this month, though. When I do, I might put about half of it on Groundfloor (Real Estate) to have some cashflow going. The rest will go into Microsoft and Dow Jones.
January 24, 2023 - I was pretty inactive for the past week or so. Didn’t really make much except from passive sources. I did, however, get rid of my TD Ameritrade acount. They are being bought by Schwab and it has been a pain to create a Charles Schwab account. They asked me to fax a notarized passport and state id (Who uses faxes nowadays?), so I did. Then I never heard from them. This gave me all the information I needed to just ditch them completely. I use MooMoo and FirstTrade for day trading now. They’re great. I also didn’t invest all my side hustling profits this month. I will close the month early and report my earnings.
January 31, 2023 - I spent most of this time working on building a program that I plan to sell as a subscription service. For this reason, I didn’t really focus on side hustling.
