Becoming a Millionaire with Side Hustles

I’m not your typical day trader, but I’ve been dipping my toes in the investment pool for a few years now. I’ve managed to build a pretty substantial portfolio over time, which I’m eyeing to channel into real estate investments soon. Living in an era where political decisions can heavily impact our financial security, I’ve learned the critical importance of safeguarding my future. After all, in a world where resources can be diverted from essential programs to fund wars or other government projects, one can never be too cautious.

The Journey and Purpose

This blog series, however, isn't just a chronicle of my investment journey. It’s about setting and conquering an ambitious goal: to become a millionaire. And here's the kicker - I plan to achieve this solely through market investments, without touching a dime from my primary job’s income. Sounds challenging, right? Well, that's the point. I’m doing this not only to push my limits but also to demonstrate that financial stability, or even affluence, is within reach for many, with just a bit of effort and strategic planning.

The Mission and Methodology

So, how do I plan to scale this financial Everest? By capitalizing on income generated through various side hustles. From the intriguing world of Old School Runescape botting and scripting to harnessing income from Google's Adsense, I’m tapping into diverse revenue streams. The plan involves investing in ETFs/stocks, managed portfolios, and even loans, such as bonds and peer-to-peer lending. The rule is simple: I won’t sell any investments until that sweet million-dollar mark is hit. My journey began with an initial investment of $1,000, and by the end of November, I saw a gain of $53.44, nudging the total to $1,053.44. It's a small but promising start to a journey of a thousand miles – or in this case, a million dollars.

Here are the rules:

  1. The starting cash will be $1,000.

  2. I can only invest in ETFs/stocks, managed portfolios, and loans (bonds, p2p lending, etc.).

  3. I will not be selling any of my investments until I reach a million dollars.

Here are the sources of income (I will update them as I discover new side hustles or methods):

  1. Income from Old School Runescape Botting and Scripting.

  2. Income from google’s Adsense.

  3. Income from sharing my internet.

  4. Income from renting out my computers.

  5. Income from crypto trading.

  6. Income from bond interests and stock dividends.

  7. Income from surveys

  8. Income from Gig apps & websites.

At the end of November, The initial $1,000 investment produced $53.44 in gains, bringing it to a total value of $1,053.44.
