Fantasy Life i Update 1.5.0 Arrival Packed with New Features
Level-5 has released a major update—version 1.5.0—for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, now live across all platforms as of August 20, 2025. This comprehensive patch introduces a host of quality-of-life improvements, new content, and fixes, showing the developer’s commitment to evolving the game based on player feedback.
The standout addition is **Photo Mode**, accessible via the Weird Pad, allowing players to pause the action to snap in-game moments with creative freedom. Complementing this is a **mount performance overhaul**, activated through the new “Pride of the Mount” item earned from a quest with Monsieur Cobra in West Dryridge Desert. Mounts now dash faster, can perform double jumps, and even climb cliffs—enhancing exploration and traversal.
Exploration is further improved with an **adjusted camera**. At Base Camp, players can now choose between "Normal" and "Far" viewing distances—useful for taking in the lush vistas of Ginormosia—and the camera control menu has been reorganized for clarity.
Multiplayer functionality also receives upgrades. A new **Party Formation feature** enables players to manage party members remotely through the Weird Pad. Hosts can now **remove inactive or disruptive players** mid-session, who will be flagged with a dedicated icon, improving session quality and player coordination.
For enthusiasts of home customization, the patch adds new **objects**—including a Sky Blue-themed furniture set, decorative pieces like a Blue Flower painting and vase, as well as “Difficult Workbooks.” New **recipes** are also available at the Tropica Isles' secret shop, expanding crafting possibilities.
Other handy enhancements include an expanded **Encyclopedia screen** showing a comprehensive fish list regardless of crowns, clearer **sticker and appliqué UI** for cosmetic customization, and fixes in **Evershop and merchant timing resets** to handle system time discrepancies.
Additional updates include a new Guide entry titled **“About Disruptive Behaviour”**, providing clarity on multiplayer moderation. **Pro Improv Crafting** has been balanced to prevent unintended low-tier item results.
The patch resolves numerous bugs: Guild Quest leveling issues, treasure chest spawning errors in Treasure Grove, mis-sorting item logs, retrieving buried gear after aging, settings glitches with daily rewards, cosmetic item sales, event display issues in Ginormosia, combo interruptions during Boss Veggie harvesting, quest progression failures in Ch. 4 and Ch. 6, multiplayer room search discrepancies, cross-save upload errors, and Switch-specific fixes (Epic account linking and boss respawn timer). These comprehensive fixes polish the game's stability and usability.
Overall, the 1.5.0 update is one of the largest yet, enriching both solo and cooperative play with meaningful enhancements and reinforcing Fantasy Life i’s continued development. Level-5 signals it’s listening—and delivering.
