Jivaro Trust Center
Advertising & Sponsorship Policy
This policy explains how Jivaro handles advertising, sponsorships, paid relationships, affiliate links, brand partnerships, donations, and reader support while protecting editorial independence and reader trust.
Jivaro may earn revenue from advertising and sponsorship-related relationships, but paid relationships do not buy conclusions, rankings, research outcomes, positive reviews, fake testing, or editorial control.
Display ads and related monetization may help fund the platform.
Paid relationships do not control editorial opinions, rankings, or recommendations.
Sponsored articles, partnerships, and paid placements should be disclosed clearly.
Jivaro does not sell favorable reviews, fake testing, or fake endorsements.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to advertising and sponsorship-related relationships on Jivaro, including display ads, sponsored articles, brand partnerships, affiliate links, donations, reader support, and related commercial arrangements.
Some commercial relationships may also be covered by Jivaro’s Affiliate Disclosure, Editorial Policy, Research Standards, Review Methodology, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, or other Trust Center pages.
Core standard
Revenue may support Jivaro, but it should not control Jivaro’s editorial judgment, research conclusions, corrections, reviews, rankings, or criticism.
Commercial relationships this policy covers
Display ads
Jivaro may show display advertising through direct relationships, ad networks, or third-party advertising providers.
Sponsored articles
Jivaro may publish sponsored articles when they fit the site’s topic areas, meet editorial standards, and are clearly labeled as sponsored or paid content.
Brand partnerships
Jivaro may work with brands, platforms, services, software providers, app developers, or other organizations when the relationship is compatible with Jivaro’s standards.
Affiliate links
Jivaro may use affiliate links that generate commissions when readers click, sign up, subscribe, or purchase through certain links. Affiliate relationships are also addressed in the Affiliate Disclosure.
Donations and reader support
Jivaro may receive donations, tips, reader support, or voluntary contributions. Reader support does not buy editorial influence or special treatment.
What this does not allow
This policy does not allow undisclosed influence, fake reviews, fake testing, fabricated endorsements, paid research acceptance, hidden sponsor control, or removal of legitimate criticism for payment.
Sponsored content standards
Clear labeling
Sponsored content should be clearly labeled as “Sponsored,” “Paid Partnership,” or similar language in a place a reasonable reader can notice before relying on the content.
Topic fit
Sponsored content should fit Jivaro’s topic areas, audience, standards, and broader mission. Jivaro may reject sponsored content that does not belong on the site.
Editorial review
Sponsored content should be reviewed under Jivaro’s editorial standards before publication. Sponsored content should not be published simply because a sponsor paid for placement.
No disguised advertising
Sponsored articles, paid partnerships, and sponsor-supported materials should not be disguised as ordinary independent editorial content.
No sponsor-controlled conclusions
Sponsors may not control Jivaro’s conclusions, criticism, rankings, recommendations, corrections, or editorial framing.
Disclosure near relevant links
Where appropriate, disclosures may appear near sponsored links, buttons, call-to-action sections, newsletter placements, app pages, tool pages, or social posts.
Sponsor review before publication
Sponsors or advertisers may be allowed to review limited portions of sponsored content before publication for factual accuracy about their own product, service, company, offer, pricing, availability, or technical details.
Sponsors may request corrections when something is factually wrong, but they may not require Jivaro to change opinions, remove legitimate criticism, alter conclusions, manipulate rankings, hide risks, or mislead readers as a condition of sponsorship.
Permitted sponsor input
Sponsor input may be used to fix factual inaccuracies about the sponsor’s own product or service. It should not be used to rewrite Jivaro’s independent judgment.
Disclosure and labeling
Jivaro aims to make material paid relationships visible enough that readers can understand when content, links, placements, newsletters, or tools involve sponsorship or commercial relationships.
Sponsored
The label “Sponsored” may be used for sponsor-supported articles, sections, placements, app/tool pages, or other sponsor-funded materials.
Paid Partnership
The label “Paid Partnership” may be used when a brand, company, platform, or organization pays for a partnership, collaboration, or promotional placement.
Top-of-page disclosure
Sponsored articles or paid partnership pages should generally include a disclosure near the top of the page.
Link-level disclosure
When relevant, disclosures may appear near sponsored links, buttons, affiliate links, calls to action, or offer sections.
Newsletter and social disclosures
Sponsored newsletter sections, sponsored emails, paid social posts, or partnership announcements should include appropriate disclosure language.
App and tool disclosures
If a Jivaro app, tool, calculator, landing page, or feature is sponsored, the sponsorship should be disclosed in a relevant place on the page or interface.
Editorial independence
Ads do not control content
Advertising and sponsorship revenue should not influence Jivaro’s independent editorial conclusions, research interpretation, criticism, corrections, reviews, or rankings.
Sponsors cannot buy rankings
Sponsors, advertisers, and affiliates cannot buy a higher ranking, a better conclusion, a more favorable recommendation, or the removal of legitimate criticism.
No required positive coverage
Advertisers and sponsors cannot require positive coverage, guaranteed endorsements, favorable reviews, inflated claims, or suppression of meaningful limitations.
Jivaro may reject sponsors
Jivaro may reject, pause, relabel, revise, or remove advertising or sponsorship relationships that conflict with site standards or reader trust.
Separation of ads and editorial
Editorial content and advertising should be separated clearly enough that readers can understand when they are reading independent editorial work and when they are seeing sponsored or paid material.
Revenue does not guarantee praise
Jivaro may earn money from a product it criticizes, may decline money from a product it recommends, and may recommend free or non-affiliate alternatives when they better serve readers.
Sponsors, ads, and partnerships Jivaro may reject
Jivaro may reject or restrict advertising, sponsorship, affiliate, or partnership opportunities that conflict with its standards, audience, policies, or legal obligations.
Illegal or deceptive offers
Illegal products or services, scams, fraud, deceptive marketing, impersonation, fake reviews, or misleading claims may be rejected.
Get-rich-quick claims
Jivaro may reject unrealistic investing, trading, passive-income, crypto, side-hustle, or business claims that imply easy, guaranteed, or low-risk wealth.
Misleading health claims
Miracle cures, unproven medical treatments, misleading supplement claims, dangerous health advice, or products that undermine medical care may be rejected.
Gambling and high-risk financial schemes
Gambling, casino-style products, pump-and-dump promotions, high-risk crypto schemes, unregistered investment products, or predatory financial offers may be rejected.
Harmful or abusive products
Weapons, dangerous products, tobacco, nicotine, vape products, malware, spyware, deceptive tracking, abusive software, or security-hostile products may be rejected.
Hate, extremism, adult content, and political campaigns
Jivaro may reject hate or extremist content, adult content, political campaign advertising, discriminatory materials, harassment, or content that conflicts with Jivaro’s editorial standards.
Research content and Jivaro Journal
No paid research outcomes
Sponsors, advertisers, donors, affiliates, or partners cannot pay for research acceptance, favorable peer review, publication approval, citation, correction, retraction, or a specific research conclusion.
Funding disclosure
Research funding, sponsorship, conflicts of interest, financial relationships, or relevant support should be disclosed where appropriate under Jivaro Journal and research policies.
Sponsored research labeling
If sponsored research is ever accepted or published, it must be clearly labeled and handled under applicable research, ethics, disclosure, and publication standards.
No interference with peer review
Advertisers and sponsors may not interfere with peer review, editorial decisions, reviewer selection, reviewer comments, acceptance, rejection, or post-publication corrections.
Sponsored content is not peer review
Sponsored articles, paid partnerships, and advertising are not the same as peer-reviewed research unless clearly identified as research and processed under the relevant research policies.
Apps, tools, and store products
Sponsored apps and tools
If a Jivaro app, tool, calculator, feature, or utility is sponsored, the sponsorship should be disclosed in a relevant place on the page or interface.
Sponsored placements
Sponsored placements in app pages, tool pages, product pages, downloads, prompts, templates, or related resources should be clearly disclosed where relevant.
Store promotions
Jivaro’s store is commercial by nature. Store products, services, prompts, templates, and resources should be presented clearly so customers understand what they are buying.
Jivaro’s own products
Jivaro may promote its own products, services, apps, store items, templates, or digital resources without labeling them as sponsored, but the commercial purpose should remain clear.
Third-party products
Third-party sponsored products, services, affiliate offers, or paid placements should be disclosed according to the nature of the relationship.
Limitations and privacy
App, tool, and product recommendations should still explain meaningful limitations, risks, data handling, privacy concerns, and user-fit issues where relevant.
Affiliate links, donations, and reader support
Affiliate links may allow Jivaro to earn commissions when readers click, sign up, subscribe, purchase, or take another qualifying action. Affiliate relationships should not determine whether a product, platform, tool, or service is recommended.
Donations, tips, and reader support help sustain Jivaro, but they do not buy editorial influence, coverage, publication, ranking changes, research outcomes, or special treatment.
Related disclosure
Affiliate relationships are addressed in more detail in Jivaro’s Affiliate Disclosure. Reader support and donations may also be explained on the Donate page.
