Compact command reference

Mix normal text with bracketed keys, key multipliers, and dynamic tokens. The quick buttons below copy common commands.

How inline commands work

• Bracketed keys: [ENTER] presses Enter once.
• Multipliers: [TAB*3] presses Tab three times.
• Dynamic tokens: {DATE}, {TIME}, and {CLIPBOARD} insert live values.
• Literal mode: wrap a command in quotes to type it as text, like "[ENTER]".

Copy common commands

Common commands The ones most users need first.

[KEY*N]

Press the specified key N times, such as [ENTER*5] or [SPACE*100]. If N is missing, such as [ENTER*], nothing happens.

[ENTER]

Press Enter.

[TAB]

Press Tab.

[SPACE]

Press Space. [SPACEBAR] also works.

Double Quotes

Wrap a command or token in quotes to type it literally, such as "[ENTER]" or "{DATE}".

Dynamic text tokens Insert values at run time.

{DATE}

Insert today’s date in YYYY-MM-DD format.

{TIME}

Insert current time in HH:MM format.

{CLIPBOARD}

Insert current clipboard text.

Navigation and editing keys Move around fields and edit text.
