What this page is for

A path for strong applicants even when the right role is not open.

Jivaro keeps all role profiles in the role directory, but the talent pool is the best path if you want to be considered broadly or if your preferred role is currently closed.

Use the talent pool when:

  • You do not see an open role that matches your background.
  • Your preferred role is listed as closed in the role directory.
  • You want to be considered for freelance, contract, project-based, contributor, or future full-time work.
  • You have useful experience that may fit more than one Jivaro work area.

Important note

Closed does not mean ignored.

If a role is closed, you can still apply through the general application form. Your application may be saved in the applicant pool and reviewed later if the role or a related project becomes active.

Interest areas

Choose the areas where your background is strongest.

You can mention one or several areas in your application message. The role dropdown should use Talent Pool / General Interest unless you are applying for one specific role.

How it works

What happens after you join the pool.

Jivaro may review submissions when a relevant role, project, review need, or freelance opportunity opens. A response is not guaranteed.

Step 01

Submit your background

Use the Apply page and choose Talent Pool / General Interest, or select a specific role if one fits your background.

Step 02

Jivaro stores your interest

Your application may be retained according to the Applicant Privacy Policy for current or future review.

Step 03

Fit may be reviewed later

If a relevant need opens, Jivaro may review your resume, portfolio, work samples, message, or subject expertise.

Step 04

Follow-up if relevant

Depending on the opportunity, follow-up may include a written request, portfolio review, interview, test task, or expert review.

Applicant privacy

Talent pool submissions may be retained for future review.

Because the talent pool is designed for future consideration, applicants should understand how the submission may be used before applying.

Important applicant notice

Joining the talent pool does not guarantee a response, interview, assignment, project, offer, or employment relationship. Jivaro may review submissions for current or future opportunities when relevant.

What your submission may be used for

  • Reviewing fit for future Jivaro roles, projects, contributor needs, or freelance opportunities.
  • Understanding your strongest interest areas, work samples, availability, and professional background.
  • Contacting you if a relevant opportunity appears to match your background.
  • Maintaining applicant records according to Jivaro’s Applicant Privacy Policy.
