New Content Added to Nintendo Switch Online Expansion

Switch OLED, Switch Lite and Switch Online subscribers have a surprise for their Switch. You may be aware that only premium Nintendo Switch online subscribers have access to the library of N64 games. Expansion Pack subscribers also receive player icons each week. Subscribers have been receiving the latter today and, to the delight of many, they are N64-themed.

Eight new icons were released. Two icons are dedicated to the console's iconic controller. There are also two icons for FZeroX and two for Yoshi Story. Two icons are dedicated to Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time. You will need to own an Expansion Pack in order to redeem all of these icons. They are also only available for one week. They are yours once they have been redeemed. However, you only have one week to redeem them. Next week, they will be replaced by a new set of icons that could be series-specific or game-specific.

Expansion Pack members have been getting new icons from Nintendo. These icons are in addition to the entire collection that Switch owners have access to throughout the year. However, they only used N64 games a few times. This is partly because Expansion Pack owners only recently had the ability to access the console's full library.
