Diablo IV Release Date Announced

The highly anticipated game from Blizzard, Diablo IV, was teased in The Game Awards 2022. Although much is already known about the game, there had not been a release date up until now. Once the teaser was over, a sort of “post credit“ scene showed, announcing the release date. The previous installation, Diablo III, went through much controversy due to its microtransaction system — a system that isn’t too welcome outside of mobile platforms. With the release of Diablo Immortal, it is highly unlikely that Blizzard will try to bring back microtransactions to their main series any time soon. Blizzard’s latest installment will be released on June 6, 2023.
