Becoming a Millionaire with Side Hustles (July 2023)
July 16, 2023 - Lots have happened in July. First, my son turned 4 months old and he’s attending pre-school. Me and the wife finally have a bit more free time but the house feels a little bit empty without him. Don’t know how to feel about it. The ladies at the daycare are great but it costs around $300 per month, so I’ll be using part of my side hustling income to pay for that. Our company also decided to raise everyone’s salaries by $200 due to inflation. It’s nice I guess, but still not enough to makeup for inflation, especially for winter.
I have been doing lot’s of work at Data Annotech. It’s the highest grossing paying company out of all the ones I have tried. The acceptance rate is very, very low but once in you can work on projects that can pay up to $45 per hour. Since I have a lot of downtime at work, I generally just do this while at work or while the baby is sleeping. One of the great things about these kinds of work is that I can take short breaks and play games in between while at home. I have been playing Final Fantasy XVI and I’m loving it! I’m at the part where Clive defeats Titan. Hopefully there is still a lot more till the game ends.
July 20, 2023 - I couldn’t work for 2 days because of a health situation. Long story short, in 2015 I started to have anxiety-like episodes but with some extra , more severe symptoms, such as full body paresthesia, 140bpm heart rate, polyuria, diarrhea, and other things. Doctors didn’t know what it was causing it back then. This would happen randomly and continued for 2 years, then it never happened again. 2 days ago, while at work, I felt dizzy all of sudden. Next thing I know, I was having one of these episodes. I was taken to the hospital where I received treatment and was discharged on the same day. Every time I have these, I feel crappy for the next couple days, and for that, I have not been working at all.
July 26, 2023 - Well, I have been to the emergency room twice in a week. I also had an MRI done. It’s crazy that the MRI was only $50 in Japan. My glucose levels and blood pressure have been changing randomly throughout the day. Not sure what it is but I’m going to have my thyroid tested tomorrow. I feel dizzy all day and my blood pressure will be 145 / 90 and 110 / 70 the next hour. I feel dizzy when it’s high. I won’t be working until I start to receive treatment for this, so I will be wrapping up this month today. I will also be using about half of the earnings to cover the costs of all the tests.
