Aim & Scope
Jivaro Journal is a peer-reviewed academic journal publishing original scholarly work in finance, science and health, and technology. The journal prioritizes analytical rigor, methodological clarity, intellectual seriousness, and relevance to ongoing academic, scientific, technical, or applied debates. Interdisciplinary submissions are welcome when their research question, methods, and contribution are clearly defined.
What the journal publishes
The journal publishes work that makes a clear research contribution within its stated scope. Submissions should present original analysis, structured argument, substantive review, or evidence-based scholarly insight appropriate for editorial assessment and external peer review.
At launch, the journal primarily considers research articles and review articles. Submissions must be written in clear academic English and prepared to a standard suitable for formal editorial handling.
Section scope
Finance
The Finance section considers scholarly work in finance, financial systems, markets, investing, corporate finance, macro-financial analysis, financial risk, financial technology where the primary contribution is financial, and related areas of economic relevance. Both theoretical and applied work may be considered when the research question, analytical framework, and conclusions are clearly developed.
Examples of suitable topics include market structure, asset pricing, portfolio analysis, behavioral finance, risk management, financial institutions, digital finance, monetary and financial policy, and comparative financial systems.
Science & Health
The Science & Health section considers scholarly work in scientific, biomedical, public health, and health-adjacent fields where the submission presents a serious research, review, or analytical contribution. The journal is open to work in health science, biology, translational science, human performance, applied health research, scientific synthesis, and related interdisciplinary areas.
Submissions in this section should clearly describe the problem addressed, the evidence or literature base used, the analytical approach taken, and the limits of the conclusions drawn. Where applicable, manuscripts must address ethics, consent, data handling, and research integrity requirements appropriate to the work.
Technology
The Technology section considers scholarly work in computing, software, systems, digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, internet technologies, cybersecurity, human-technology interaction, and related technical domains. The journal welcomes both conceptual and applied work when it offers a clear contribution, defensible reasoning, and sufficient methodological or technical clarity.
Examples of suitable topics include software systems, AI applications, technical evaluation, platform analysis, digital tools, computing trends, technical methods, internet infrastructure, and technology policy where the core contribution remains analytical and research-driven.
What the journal does not publish
The journal does not ordinarily consider material that falls outside its scholarly scope or does not meet the standard for peer-reviewed academic publication. This includes, but is not limited to, purely promotional writing, opinion pieces without substantive analytical support, casual commentary, short unstructured essays, press-style articles, product marketing content, and submissions lacking a clear research question, contribution, or reviewable argument.
The journal also does not publish work that misrepresents sources, lacks necessary disclosures, fails to meet applicable ethical standards, or is not prepared in a form suitable for editorial screening and peer review.
Article types currently considered
At launch, Jivaro Journal primarily considers the following article types:
Research Article — original scholarly analysis, investigation, or argument
Review Article — structured critical review or synthesis of literature, evidence, or a defined research area
Additional article types may be introduced in future once the journal’s editorial workflow and publication program expand.
Authors should review the journal’s Author Guidelines, Publication Policies, and Submission page before submitting a manuscript. Suitability for scope does not guarantee external peer review or publication.
